Our home

Stylish home renovated to our own design. Wonderful south facing kitchen and main bedroom. Traditional cosy lounge with woodburner.
The kitchen has a sunny sitting area and doors fold back completely to link the house with the garden.
All modern appliances and underfloor heating in the ground-floor rooms.
4 minutes walk from sea and town.

Who we are

We are John and Sue Burton. We run a small B&B but holidays come first! We love walking, tea shops and eating out.
The garden is our pride and joy - but easy to maintain.
Sometimes we travel with family for a school holiday swap. Here we are with 2 grand daughters all dressed up for a 40s weekend.
We are active retired. John from printing and Sue from Social work/education.
We live at the sea and love holidays at the sea.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Sheringham is a thriving traditional seaside town. We are less than a 5 minute walk from the seafront and the town centre. Restaurants and coffee shops aplenty, something to suit all tastes and pockets.
Public transport is extremely good, giving access to neighbouring towns, The Broads and Norwich.
Holt just 6 miles inland is a beautiful Georgian town with independent shops and a great cafe culture.
Norwich is an exceptionally fine city and the train brings you in to the riverside, cathedral, museums and cobbled streets. There are three National Trust properties - the furthest being thirty minute's drive away. For steam railway enthusiasts - that seems to be most people - the North Norfolk Heritage Railway is at the top of the town
The coast in North Norfolk is wonderful with marshes, bird reserves and pretty flint villages.
Our back gate gives access to great walks - inland to woods and Common - or coastal walks along the sand or cliffs.
We prefer to swap with properties that are on the coast and have good public transport links.
