Our home

We have a warm, light family house in central London. The house has an easy living room, and a beautiful kitchen- dining room. We have 4 bedrooms: one with a 1 kingsize bed, 1 with a double bed and two with single beds. There is a patio garden with a jasmine and passion flowers. We have a cleaner who comes once a week. We have a cat called Brownie, who takes care of herself.

Who we are

  1. We are a Dutch/British/American family. Paul is a management consultant and Christine is a manager in the Health Service. We have 4 sons between the ages of 35-17, but would travel with just the youngest Joshua, who is 17. We have lived and worked in many countries, and have exchanged houses for about 20 years. We love to be by in a wonderful city, possibly on the sea, lake or river for our holidays.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in Shepherds Bush, a thriving multi-cultural neighbourhood in west London. London's newest shoppingmall, Westfield, and Portobello market are close by. Ten minutes walk from our house will get you to the tube, and in 30 minutes you can be anywhere in London: Westminster, Picadilly, Harrods, the art galleries, theatres, museums, Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park. One hour's drive from the house is Oxford; one and a half hours takes you to Stonehenge.
