Our home

The house is a comfortable detached house with a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, study and downstairs WC. Central heating and double glazing provides a cosy environment for the winter months. There are 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms en-suite and one shower room. The house includes Sky TV, fast broadband internet, wifi and an integral double garage. One of two cars are available on an exchange basis, one a Vauxhall compact car and the other a VW Passat estate. Also available are two bikes, golf clubs, a range of sports racquets and even a short board windsurfer and sails.

Who we are

  1. I am a Business Development Manager for a company in the satellite business and planning to retire at the end of 2014. My wife is a retired chemistry teacher. We have three children all married. Our son is currently living with his wife in Cottesloe in Western Australia.

    We are looking for a couple of weeks exchange over the 2014 Christmas period followed by a two week period in the Margaret River area.

The house is 30 miles south east of London in the county of Kent. The local main line railway station will take you into the heart of London within 30 minutes. A wide range of shops are located within Sevenoaks, just 5 minutes away by car and there is a largish supermarket within a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of options for country walks and historic houses/castles in the vicinity. Access to the M25 motorway is within 5 minutes this provides links to the UK motorway system. The coast is 30-40 miles away.
