Who we are

  1. We are Liz (age 59) and Melvyn (age 61). Mel is a self-employed carpenter/joiner and Liz is a retired nurse. We love to travel and last year our daughter and family emigrated to Australia-they live in Perth (Kinross). My son-in-law is an accountant in Perth-they are expecting their second child in the beginning of November. We are hoping to exchange in any of the suburbs north of Perth.
We expect to arrive on November 20th 2010-January 20th 2011. We can stay with our daughter for a while at the beginning of the holiday or at the end in case a shorter time house swap is needed-please e mail us to discuss!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are in a quiet road with great neighbours-5 mins drive from the town and beach.
Seaford is an unknown jewel hidden between the English Channel and the glorious South Downs. This small town has everything one needs plus a lot more: restaurants, golf courses, boutiques, antique shops, specialist butchers, fresh fishmonger, restaurants, delightful teashops and of course a supermarket. Brighton and Eastbourne are a 30minute drive away. Seaford station is in the town and various destinations can be reached including London Victoria (1hr 15mins). The historic and pretty village of Alfriston is 2 miles away. Also at Newhaven (4 miles) is the ferry to France (Dieppe).
The surrounding scenery is well documented as part of the Seven Sisters and National Trust.
