Our home

We live in a Victorian property with 4 bedrooms in the main house (master bedroom with ensuite plus 2 doubles and a single) plus a family bathroom. Downstairs we have a very large kitchen-diner, living room (with plasma TV, Blue-ray and Nintendo Wii) and a well stocked children's playroom (with double sofa bed) plus a wet room/WC. Outside is a lovely 1/3 acre garden with children's play area (swing, slide, sandpit, playhouse), sunken trampoline, large lawn, outside dining areas with BBQ and a well-stocked vegetable garden. In the garden there is also a guest cottage with a guest suite and office (which also has a large single sofa bed).

Who we are

  1. Reuben works in PR and training and Dawn is a garden designer. We have three children - Ava (8), Oscar (6) and Archie (3). We have had two very successful house swaps - one in Fracne and one in the UK. Ideally we'd love to do one or two weekend exchanges in the UK so we have a base to explore different areas of the country also, we'd love to do a longer house swap next summer for 1-2 weeks.

Your neighbourhood

Our home is in the heart of a small Cambridgeshire village yet we are only 45 minutes by train to London from our local station in St Neots. Our village has a beautiful church and a thatched pub - the Eaton Oak. There are lots of walks around and about as well as Grafham Water (offering lots of water-based activities) only 4 miles away. We are a mile outside St Neots - a pretty market town with lots of amenities. We are only 18 miles from the historic city of Cambridge with a huge number of cultural and leisure activities. By train, it is also easy to access Paris (via London) in around 4 hours as well as York (in around 3 hours) and Scotland.
