Our home

Classic country cottage in village location. The family kitchen with Rayburn cooker and sofa is the heart of the home. In summer open out the French doors from the lounge onto our small cottage garden. In winter settle down on the leather chairs either side of the open log fire in the sitting room.

  1. We have lived happily in our home for over 20 years and now our boys are away at University we have the flexibility to share and exchange our home with others.

Typical English village mentioned in the Domesday book. On the borders of Warwickshire and Oxfordshire making it a great base for visiting Stratford upon Avon, Oxford, Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds. Trains to London take about an hour from Banbury. Good local walks, including canal towpaths. 30 minute drive to Birmingham International airport. Good restaurants in nearest large town (Royal Leamington Spa). Small market town of Southam just a mile away for local provisions. Friendly pub in village itself serving meals.
