Our home

Hello, this is our first house swop. Our home is a house in the country, with all mod cons. The downstairs is open plan with a large lounge, separate dining room and large kitchen. There are also 3 spacious bedrooms, nice bathroom and separate shower room. The garden is mainly lawned with borders and adjacent there are 2 paddocks totalling 9 acres. It is secluded and private.
We have a gardener and house cleaner once a week.
We have no pets and are non-smokers.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Richard is technician for a brewing company. His is a fairweather motorbiker, and he enjoys walking, coastal areas and spends too much time on ebay. He enjoys visiting local pubs and trying the real ales (in moderation).

Pauline is a teacher at the local school. Loves the country environment, walking and music.
Likes dancing but never finds the time to follow due to workload.

Our sons Mark and Stephen are both at University
    in London.

We like visiting other countries and learning and mixing with other cultures.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Set in the countryside near a town called Romsey (2 miles). Our town offers easy access to the three historic cities Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury. Also London is approximlately
1 hour by train. So there is plenty to visit and see.
We are located on the Testway footpath which is ideal for walking. You can find yourself in beautiful countryside very quickly. On one of the walks you can visit Mottisfont Abbey and its House and stop off at Annie's Tea rooms on the way. Its a delighful way to see English countryside.
