Our home

Our home is comfortable, clean, and spacious. It has a large kitchen dining room which opens onto the large private garden, a sitting room, office with piano and 6 bedrooms. One double room has an ensuite shower room, another has a shower room and separate toilet next door and a third has a double loft bed. There are a further two single bedrooms with a bathroom nearby. We have a large basement which has a double sofa bed and so the house could accomodate 10 people if necessary. The basement also has a utility room and toilet. There is resident's parking in our street for which we have a permit. We have a collection of good bikes, table football and some garden games.

Who we are

We are a family of 5: I am a research nurse, my husband is a chartered surveyor and our children are 13 (girl, 11 (boy) and 6 (girl). We are coming to Austin for a family wedding - my cousin is a teacher in Austin.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The area is residential and close to a lovely park with excellent children's play area, tennis courts, pitch and put golf and a cafe. We are near the Bakerloo and Jubilee line tubes (4 stops to the centre) or you can take a bus (20 minutes). To walk to Oxford St. is about 3 miles. Our small neighbourhood has some good restaurants, cafes and shops but we are also near to Hampstead with many more shops and the heath with its pond swimming and lovely walks.
We are 10 minutes drive to the MI motorway so getting out of town is also easy.
