Our home

The name Moncrieff derives from a famous Scottish Clan. Moncrieff Barn offers a unique opportunity to acquire a period barn set in the heart of the village of Pulborough. The Barn is steeped in History and is believed to date back to the 15th Century, previously owned by the Johns family with famous links to the music industry; Managing and producing bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who and the Eagles.
The present owner has maintained the building to a very high standard and enhanced the accommodation with the addition of a contemporary two storey studio combining modern style with character features and a useful car port. The property offers scope for a number of uses and there is potential for creating an additional, internal annexe (subject to usual consent).
As you enter the Barn the immense character and sense of History is immediately evident, the reception hall with its high galleried landing opening onto the first floor level reception room and impressive chimney breast compliment the building as a whole, the private, well stocked, screened garden and parking for several cars leading to the covered car port, together provide a well presented family home with a wealth of exposed beams and character, in the heart of the village close to all local amenities. An early internal inspection is essential to appreciate this rarely available historical home.
