Our home

Our house in Cornwall is a place to relax and provides a perfect base to explore the area. The bedrooms are on the lower level while the lounge, sunroom and balcony are on the first floor, making the most of the views of the sea and coastline. The house backs on to fields and is in a quiet private road.

*The house is at the top of a flight of steps and is not suitable for people of limited mobility.

  1. We are David, a former Company Director and Eileen, a former English Teacher. We are keen to ensure that you have a good time visiting our property and will do our best to provide all of the information you will need to make the most of your stay.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The area is residential and peaceful. The house is close enough to the sea to hear the waves on the beach below while lying in bed. The small town of Looe is a fifteen minute walk along the coastal path or a short drive or taxi ride away. The house is situated close to the Coastal Pathway that provides walkers with stunning scenery, flora and fauna.

Activities include numerous beaches, walking, fishing, golf and diving. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy local seafood and the area is famous for producing ice cream, Cornish pasties and Cornish cream teas.

Places of interest include a number of historic homes and gardens the Eden Project (18 miles) and the City of Plymouth (20 miles) where you can visit the Mayflower Steps where the Pilgrim Fathers departed England for the New World. Apart from Looe itself area includes some of the most picturesque fishing villages in the country including Polperro (5 miles), Fowey (10 miles) and Mevagissey (18 miles).
