Our home

A stunning Zen-inspired home made of glass and wood built *over* a river on the site of an old flour mill. The living room literally has the water running below it. Totally magical, peaceful and unique.

Surrounded by large windows, you are literally living on top of a river and yet it feels cosy and warm. The house was designed and built in the 1960s by the visionary architect Claxton-Wright.

The sound of a gushing waterfall runs continually in the background in this peaceful rural location in the South Downs national park. Yet with all this peace and quiet it is only a 6 minute drive (or a 20 minute walk) into the heart of Petersfield, one of England's oldest and most charming market towns or an hour's train ride into the centre of London.
