Our home

Our home is an eighteenth century country cottage set in a beautiful village in the South Downs National Park. There are three bedrooms (two double and one single) plus a dressing room attached to the main bedroom. The two double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, first with a shower and bath and second with bath only. There is a kitchen/dining area and a cosy living room with a wood burning stove. There is an outside washroom. The back garden is set to the side of the house up some steps and is well stocked with plants and shrubs and has a sunny south facing terrace. The front garden is south facing and looks towards the village pond and 12th century church.

Who we are

  1. We are Peter and Fay and are now both retired. Our children have now left home and we are looking forward to the chance to do more travelling. This is the first time we have done a home exchange and we are looking for like-minded people who would like to stay in a lovely English village. We also have a cat who is very independent but will need feeding. However if you want to have a few days away when you are here we have lovely neighbours who will come and feed him!
