Our home

My little ground floor flat used to be mill workers home so has seen generations of history.It was remodelled & extended,faces south & the sun floods into the lounge.The patio doors open on to a patio & large garden with a small summerhouse. Parking is on street.Stanley Kirk is next door.I have one double bedroom & a Sofabed in the lounge.I have broadband,Roku satellite tv & a laptop available. I have off peak storage heating,an electric over bath shower.

  1. I have lived in the village for over 30years & is ideal for my needs.I live on my own but have family in the village.I retired from Social Work & enjoy a busy retirement with grandchildren,friends,hobbies & my border collie Sam.

Stanley was built to accommodate the workers & owners of historical Stanley Mills,(now a heritage site & private homes). The beautiful River Tay flows by providing fishing,canoeing etc. It's a quiet village with small shops & school.There is a children's adventure park which is very popular., ,tennis courts, & a quality restaurant nearby ,a small pub & a hotel up the road . There are stunning walks & a beach at the Campsie Linn. The village is just off the A9, & a convenient central base for touring. There's a regular bus service. Stanley is a few miles north of the fair city of Perth with its history,shopping ,restaurants & entertainment, train & intercity coaches. Edinburgh with its airport is approx. car or public transport. Heading North on the A9 in winter there are popular skiing facilities,the nearest is Glenshee.
