Our home

Our home is set in a quiet street, and is clean and comfortable. There are three double bedrooms one with ensuite, the fourth bedroom is a study. Family bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. Downstairs separate lounge and dining room leading to a conservatory, well equipped kitchen. The private rear garden has open views over fields and in the distance Cannock Chase.

Who we are

We have been married 38 years, all of this time we have lived in Penkridge.
Eddie has worked in the aircraft industry for 46 years. Candy has worked in a busy accounts office.
We have a married son living in Penkridge, and a married daughter in Perth WA. We have 4 grandchildren, 2 of which live in Perth, whom we would both love to spend more time with.

Penkridge dates back to before the Romans arrived to build Watling Street in 48 A.D, and years later Elizabeth 1 stayed at one of our local inns.

Penkridge village has all amenities, including several old inns, Supermarkets, bakery, local butchers, post office, banks and restaurants.

There are many interesting walks, including along the canal with a small boat marina and canal side inns.

The village also benefits from excellent transport links, motorway, buses and trains giving easy access to many destinations.
