Our home

Our renovated 1 bedroom flat is on the first floor of a tenement building.
It has 2 single beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed for 2 in the living room.
3 piece washroom includes shower.
Kitchenette has stove top and microwave.

We have a high chair and toys for young children if needed.

The building is 10 units and has a security system in place.
There is a large communal back yard for children to play in.

We love our holiday flat and have kept it for over 35 years.

Who we are

We are an English/French family of six. Marc works in business and enjoys sports and history in his free time. Mary is a librarian when not taking care of the children 12,9, 7 and 4).
We are hoping for something transit accessible.
We had our first exchange in 2012 to London.
We enjoy biking, swimming and visiting parks.
We do prefer no pets (particularly cats) due to allergies.
We are looking for last minute from March 8th in North America and a UK adventure in August.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our flat is located 10 minutes by taxi ride from Glasgow Airport in the east end of Paisley.

The train station "Hawkhead" is a five minute walk down our street and takes you to Glasgow Central in 20 minutes.

We can walk to the large Barshaw Park in 10 minutes. There is also a major grocery store within a 10 minute walk. Up the town is a 20 minute walk from home.

The town centre of Paisley is lovely in itself with a historic Abbey and mills - the home of Paisley pattern.

We are in an excellent location for seeing much of Scotland. We use our flat for day trips to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and many trips down the Clyde to the seaside.
