Our home

Our house is a 3 bedroomed semi detached south facing regency property(1811) set within the heart of the village of Old Windsor 15 minutes walk from Central Windsor and 10 minutes drive from Legoland. Direct trains run into London every half an hour, jurney time 55 minutes. Windsor Great Park is on our doorstep and the river thames runs through Old Windsor. We have local shops within footsteps away. Downstairs we have a large kitchen with a very big table seating up to 12 all mod cons, sittingroom with log burning stove,TV, DVD player etc and second smaller sittingroom for reading etc that can be used as a double bedroom. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms one with a cot for our grandaughter to stay bathroom with jucuzzi bath and master bedroom with onsuite bathroom with powershower. South and wast facing private gardens with off street parking for 8 cars at a push. We have just built a large garden room ideal for breakfast in the sun or parties.

  1. We are a couple in our fifties, our children have both got married and had babies in the last year so we are emersed in grandchildren. Richard is a gutarist and I am an antenatal teacher and Homeopath.

Old Windsor is a small village 3 miles from Windsor a 15 to 20 minute walk, we are on the main street, local shops coop, fish and chips Indian restaurant. River Thames is a 5 minute walk and Windsor Great Park is a 5 Minute drive. You can reach London easily but train every half an hour local train stations all around about 50 minutes. Windsor has excellent shopping, restaurants and nightlife as well as Windsor Castle open to visitors every day.
