Our home

Our detached house on the outskirts of Cardiff is quiet, clean, comfortable and very children friendly. It has a master bedroom with en-suite, a kids' bedroom with two children beds and a third room used as a study (guest air mattress might be usable as an additional bed). The conservatory provides a great space for relaxing and enjoying the Summer evenings (and there is another sofa-bed) while the garden is ideal for barbecues on sunny days.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is situated in a quiet position on the hills in one Cardiff northern neighbourhoods. It is in an ideal position for an active outdoor holyday (e.g. hiking , cycling, surfing and playing golf) and for exploring the Welsh and West English cultural heritage sites.
The estate is surrounded by walking paths. The most popular of which is the Taff Trail (http://www.tafftrail.org.uk/). Within a mile radius there are two 18 holes Golf Clubs (please see links below). The closest seaside town is Penarth (20 minutes by car) and in 30 minutes you can reach Rest Bay, the nearest of many South Wales surfing paradises (please see link below) . Heading North, in less than an hour drive you can be in the Breacon Beacons National Park.

The house is well placed for sulking in some of the local cultural attractions. Castle Coch is 5 minutes drive (it can be seen from the estate's playground). Cardiff and Caerphilly castles are also within easy reach. The property is also in a great position to experience some of England's finest towns (Bath is 1h 15' away), and Stratford-Upon-Avon (2 hours drive) . In conclusion it is the ideal location to experience the outdoor and/or relax when you get back home.
