Our home

Our home sits high up above the Wye Valley, looking down to the river and across a panoramic view of native woodland - we still enjoy the view after living here for 20 years! It is a very tastefully converted barn with many unusual features: the whole building is a square that surrounds a cobbled courtyard - a suntrap that is ideal for BBQ's on summer evenings. One bathroom has a large circular bath that a group of kids can splash around in. The kitchen enjoys the best views and is light and airy. The lounge can be converted into a homestyle cinema. We love it! We alsoown a samll house by the sea near to St Davids in Wales (sleeps 6)that can be used.

Who we are

  1. WE are a family of four - myself and my partner have been together for 30 years and our children are aged 15 and 12. We run our own business - a management consultancy and have always taken good holidays to travel and explore the world. We have done home exchanges before and have always enjoyed both our own experience and allowing other people to enjoy this very beautiful place.

Your neighbourhood

The house sits in it's own land at the end of a track with an extensive garden surrounding the house and 5 acre meadow in front. There is a trampoline, swing and badminton court in the garden and full size table tennis in a covered area. Locally there is superb walking and cycling and a tennis court. St Pierre Golf Club is a 20 minute drive away. Local Market towns are Monmouth, Chepstow and Ross-on-Wye. City life, museums and historical landmarks are all only 45 minutes away in Bristol, Cardiff and Hereford.
