Our home

The property is a gorgeous grade two listed 1930's art deco black and white period building. The building is in a security gated community nestled into its private shared rose garden tended and cared for by the on hand caretakers. The building is truly unique in the sense that you can be on a busy high street having jumped off a train form Victoria central and can be in a tranquil peaceful and safe environment within two minutes walk but still only 20 minutes on public transport to the Centre of the city. Although parking is available it is unlikely it would be needed, as both Heathrow and Gatwick airport are less than 45 minutes away by taxi or train. Plus no Londoners have cars anyway! everyone uses the tube and the amazing transport links. The flat is on the top floor and the London shard (the tallest building in europe can be seen from the back steps. There is the original wooden flooring in the hall and living room and warm carpets in the bedrooms. The flat is fully central heated and double glazed windows designed to fit in with the up keep of the buildings character. There is a rain shower and free standing sink and separate WC. The bedrooms are all double, one with a king, another with a standard double and the third with a small double. The flat will easily sleep 6 adults and a seventh could always stay on the sofa if needed. The modern kitchen is fitted with all appliances one could wish for, and is finished to a very high standard. The flat is really very well kept and it is my home. I welcome you into it and to all my knowledge of London.

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am a 29 year old actor and property developer. I haven't had much of an opportunity to travel as my circumstances have meant it has been more of a necessity to work than live. However my circumstances have changed and I really would like to see some more of the world and thought this would be a great way to do it. I have a cat called dodger who is very lazy and spends most of his time in the garden, he really is no trouble to look after at all though and if its an issue my neighbour will be happy to have the lazy old soul. I would really like to have short and long stays at places depending on the place of course. My family are from London on my Dads side and Texas on my Mothers, they are now however based in Cornwall where I spent time growing up so am very knowledgable about the west country also if you should wish to take a trip (which I would highly recommend). I look forward to hearing from you and having some adventures in some new places.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The flat is located in Streatham hill or 'the old west end' as locals call it, when back in the thirties actors would be seen on one of the old stages. although these have been long since converted to bingo halls and shopping centres and the acting scene firmly rooted in the west end, the amazing architecture still remains. Just two minutes walk down the road is Streatham hill overground station which serves trains to London Victoria in 17 mins, Clapham junction (the largest interchange in europe with trains spreading throughout the country) 10mins, Balham tube station 3mins (or ten min walk), London bridge 19 mins, waterloo 20 mins. If you don't fancy the train the bus stop is right over the street with busses taking you all over London. Oxford circus and the West End are only ever 30 mins away. The transport links are really fantastic in this area and very easy to use. Ill leave you a detailed list of useful info on transport, sights and some secrets of London and places to see I'm sure you wouldn't normally get to see on a tourist trip. In the immediate area are numerous restaurants from high price to low and lots of local shops and bars its only a thirty second walk to the high street.
