Our home

The house was originally built as two semi-detached farm workers cottages. It was first modernised in 1968 and then again more recently in 1990. It is a comfortable family home within a garden of approx half an acre.

Who we are

  1. I am Frank Harding, a retired Chartered Accountant. I was in practice and was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel widely. I still have a few business interests and am involved with a number of charities in London.

My wife, Belinda, is an artist who has recently obtained an MA in creative arts, specializing in kiln formed glass. She too has charitable interests and chairs a small(ish) national charity.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The cottage is close to a road with limited traffic but good access to the motorway to London which is 90 minutes away and to Marlborough, some 2 miles away. It faces across fields to the River Kennet, an excellent trout stream, which flows west/east through the tranquil valley.

The valley is on the edge of Savernake forest, an ancient royal hunting area and nearby are are the stone circle of Avebury, Silbery Hill and a little further afield is Stone Henge,
