Our home

The Post House was originally built in 1640 and retains many period features like ceiling beams and a thatched roof. It has been extensively developed over the years and is now a comfortable well equipped family home with a large kitchen, a separate dining room, a large lounge with views over the sunny garden and an open fire for colder evenings, a cosy sitting room with a wood burning stove and a small office with computer facilities. There are four large double bedrooms.

Your neighbourhood

North Kilworth is a pretty English village with about 300 hundred people, despite its rural location it has excellent communications(London is hour away by train), the major motorways north and south are just 5 miles away and there are two airports within 30 minutes drive. There is horse riding, cycling (we have bikes) and walking on the doorstep and an international golf course and a theatre (with excellent restaurant)half a mile away. There is football and rugby in Leicester city (12 miles), tennis courts in the village and swimming pool and sports centre 5 miles away. Market Harborough is the nearest town (a small market town) and has excellent shopping and several good cafes bars and restaurants.
