Who we are

  1. We are Monica and Gianluca, originally from Italy, we are a couple of professionals in our thirties, in Manchester for several years. Love traveling, learning different languages and curiouses about different cultures. We already exchanged our home for 1 month in Amsterdam and it was an extraordinary experience.
Gianluca loves photography, www.flickr.com/photos/glamodrome , with a degree in Political Science and I'm a kind of artist in my way too with a degree in Paleontology. We love cinema, music, art and literature.
We are quite relaxed and we look forward to sharing our home with you, and want you to feel assured that your home will be cared for by two loving and respectful people.

Your neighbourhood

Britain's first urban heritage park, Castlefield preserves Manchester's industrial legacy while offering visitors a picturesque canalside destination where they can eat, drink and have fun.
While the southern part of Castlefield is centred around water, the northern part is dominated by the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, another must-see attraction showcasing Manchester's industrial history.

The Lowry Centre just a 5 minutes by metrolink.
Rising like a futuristic ship at the heart of the redeveloped Salford Quays, The Lowry is a spectacular home to the arts and entertainment.
The £94 million Lowry is an architectural landmark, with its unconventional stainless steel and glass surfaces reflecting water and light. Designed by Michael Wilford in an interesting sequence of geometrical shapes, the building's scale is breathtaking - it is the size of five football pitches.

Old Trafford just a 10 minutes by metrolink.
More than 200,000 people from all over the world visit Old Trafford every year to soak up the Manchester United experience and walk in the footsteps of George Best and the like.
The best place to enjoy the Champions League!

Trafford Centre just a 10 minutes by bus.
An £880 million shopping temple, The Trafford Centre is one of the UK's top shopping and leisure destinations, attracting over 27 million visitors every year.

Manchester has a large, lively and energetic Gay and Lesbian community, and their needs are catered for in an area which has come to be known as the Gay Village in Manchester. In recent years it has brought a new dynamism and vitality to a hitherto rather rundown area of the city, and its pavement cafés and bars have helped create in summertime a cosmopolitan and continental ambiance, which attracts many people to its nightlife - Gay, Lesbian and Heteros!
The Gay Village probably represents the the biggest concentration of gay interests, services and businesses in Europe.
