Our home

This wonderful family home is very private and hidden away down a lane as the centre plot of 4 roads. There are 5 bedrooms upstairs and an extra 2 could sleep on the downstairs sofabed giving a max of 12 who conveniently fit our kitchen table, though we would prefer less! There are 2 large bathrooms and and extra toilet. The house was built in 1960 and we have refurbished it all in the last 7 years.

We have 2 large comfortable lounges. In the summer we spend time outside on the patio, in the garden facing a gorgeous weeping willow. There is a trampoline with safety nets and a swing in the garden.

We have wireless internet, a huge DVD collection and a large TV.

Property features

Who we are

  1. In life I (Nigel) founded and lead a Christian Mission Charity (see my Homepage) enabling people to use their holiday time to make a personal difference in the lives of some of the worlds poorest. My wife (Susan) is a nurse and we have 4 teenage daughters, 2 or which are spending 2012 summer at a camp inn Canada called Muskoka Woods. Another is just married so at this stage there may just be the 3 of us travelling. We love giving and receiving hospitality and have lived in several countries so are used to different cultures and places.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We have a fabulous 5 bedroom house in the Town of Luton, in England. It is a 5 minute ride to the station/15 minute walk and then 30 minutes to central London by train. We are 5 minutes from Luton airport but no noise. This is the gateway to many European destinations for as little as US$50 return. This is an ideal location for the Olympics or base to travel around the United Kingdom. To be honest, Luton itself is not the prettiest town in England but if you like history and museums the opportunities being so close to London are limitless.

Also closeby is the historic town of St Albans with its great cathedral and Verrilanium (Roman artifacts etc).
