Our home

Our home is a spacious bungalow and tastefully decorated with solid wooden floors throughout. The kitchen is large consisting of all necessary utilities. There are three bathrooms one with a double shower and the other has a freestanding bath. The two double bedrooms are ensuite; with a central bathroom for communal use. Our living room has a large sandstone fireplace for cosy evenings in. We are located by the main motorway for ease of travelling and also for walking into the local shops.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Hi, we are Patrick and Maeve Cairns. We have four children, ages 23, 21, 15, and 13 (and our beautiful dog Nero!). It is a busy home! My oldest two children are living in England at the minute; one at University in Liverpool and the other is working in Manchester.

  2. My husband is a Building Contractor and I am employed in a post primary school as a Secretary and also a Special Needs Assistant to children with learning difficulties.

  3. We have a deep love and respect for our Irish tradition and have instilled these values in our children. We are very active in the traditional music scene; playing competitively but also have many a great session in our home or in our local GAA Club or pub.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Are you interested in visiting Belfast, Dublin, Donegal or famous landmarks of Ireland such as The Titanic Centre, Giant's Causeway, The Peace Bridge in Derry or the Beautiful Mourne Mountains? Then you have hit the right property spot. We are central to accessing many parts of Ireland as we are situated right beside the main M1 motorway connecting North and South of Ireland. The train/bus station is a 10 minute walk away for days out to Dublin, Galway or Belfast and many more hidden gems. The town centre has many shops, restaurants, hair/beauty salons and bars for sampling some Irish hospitality; however due to the great availability to travel with ease I recommend exploring as many other villages, towns and cities that Ireland can offer. There is a leisure and sports centre in town which is adjacent to a beautiful park with fabulous amenities for children and a lovely lake. There are other lakes situated a 10min drive away where you can do watersports, watersking, boating or cycle around the lakes on the cyle path. There is a dry ski slope situated 5 minute drive away and two large golf courses are in the area. There are amenities very central for all ages. So Céad Míle Fáilte (A hundred thousand welcomes) to beautiful Ireland!
