Our home

5 miles from the historic town of Ludlow with it's Castle and beautiful old buildings is our 16th century cottage set in a pretty garden surrounded by stunning views. Unhurried driving and living, walking from the door and a host of colourful birds to watch. A comfortable home with a small kitchen housing an Aga cooker which is a joy to use, long dining room, snug and computer room, large lounge area with a grand piano and extensive views. One bedroom upstairs with W.C. and hand basin. Downstairs family bathroom. In the garden is a seperate studio that sleeps 2. Unfortunately the house is not suited for children.

Who we are

  1. Our names are Barry & Carol Gough, aged 68 & 64. Barry is a musician retired from teaching but enjoys playing in his Saxophone Quartet. Carol enjoys family and friends, gardening, art and most things. We are a friendly, outgoing couple and keep our home in good order and would certainly look after yours. Having recently returned from our latest swap of 3 months to New Zealand & Australia which was excellent ,we would now like to swap in America in 2010 .

Your neighbourhood

Extremely rural, 5 miles from the Ancient Market Town of Ludlow, Shropshire. Access to Major cities such as Birmingham, Gloucester and London. The Glorious hills of Wales are a short drive away and closer to home we can boast many star rated restaurants and Grade Listed buildings steeped in history all within the castle lined walls of Ludlow.
