Our home

We have a stunning 18th Century Barn conversion in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This property won a prestigious architectural award upon conversion, and enjoys enviable views across the Ribble valley and surrounding countryside. Situated within a quiet and pleasant village, the barn consists of a large open planned room with a number of original features that are of local historical significance, a more intimate snug room, three large bedrooms, two bathrooms and wonderful mature gardens that look upon the historic site of Pendle Hill. The property is in very close proximity to a number of beautiful country walks that range from a local tranquil valley with waterfalls and streams to some more challenging mountain climbs (the three peaks) which offer spectacular views across the Dales. We are 15 minutes drive from the idyllic village of Malham which featured in the Harry Potter movies. And we are 2 miles from the market town of Settle which is the start point for the world famous steam train journey to Carlisle. The property is also within 1 hours drive from the Lake District, the cities of Manchester, Harrogate, and Leeds. This is an ideal property for a summer, autumn or winter vacation as each changing season brings new character and beauty to the local environment. It also provides a peaceful and relaxing setting away from the bustle of city life.
