Our home

Our house is a 3 storey late Victorian terrace (we will close off the top floor for any swaps). It has recently been renovated and has a new kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs we have 2 double bedrooms, one of which has a small en-suite shower room. There is also an office which can double as a single bedroom if needed. Downstairs is a large modern eat in kitchen and a comfortable living room. We have a small easy care garden which includes a terraced area with table, chairs and barbecue.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Michael is 60, and is now retired after running a business for 30 years. Christine is still working part time. We have had one highly successful swap in Perth (Michael's home town) and would love to repeat the experience.

Ideally we would like to swap for a long period of 3 to 6 months, but remain flexible and open to offers.

Your neighbourhood

Crouch End is a lovely north London suburb with a friendly village like feel, but close to central London. We are within easy walking distance of lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, a recently opened art-house cinema and a weekly farmer's market. The open green spaces of Alexandra Palace, Highgate Woods and Queen's Woods are also nearby. If you like sport there are several tennis and cricket clubs in Crouch End.

Hornsey overground station, about 10 minutes walk away, takes you into the city in about 15 minutes, or bus and underground will get you into the West End in half an hour.
