Our home

We have a three bedroom Victorian terrace in a quiet neighbourhood. There are two living rooms, connected by double doors and a recently refurbised kitchen and dining room which leads through to the garden. Upstairs the bedrooms are all double sized - two contain double beds and one a large single bed suitable for one adult or two small children. There is also a double sofabed in the living room. As a family with small babies and a four year old we have most of the equipment a family might need and a large selection of toys and games for children. Steve writes about film so we also have a large collection of DVDs.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Steve works as a journalist writing about architecture and film and Polly, when she is not on maternity leave, is a curator at the British Library. We have recently become a family of five with the arrival of twins (aged four months) and a daughter aged 4. We are especially interested in exchanges in Northern Spain and also places in the UK, particularly during the school holidays.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood surrounded by lots of green space but only 20 minutes walk, through a park, from the restaurants, shops and cafes of East Dulwich. Transports links are good with direct trains to central London - 15 minutes to Victoria, Blackfriars and London Bridge stations. There is also a bus stop at the end of the road. For exploring London our house provides a great base.
