Our home

Our house is a lovely, family home, recently renovated with new kitchen and loft extensions. We have lived here for 8 years and love it!

We have 4 bedrooms - two doubles with one en-suite and two children's bedrooms with single beds. The living room is large (for London!) with a sofa and leather armchairs plus well-loved piano. The kitchen is our pride and joy where we spend most of our time cooking and chatting round the table. The garden doors slide open to the small patio garden where there is a large swing-seat.

Upstairs we also have a bathroom and another shower room plus a study. There is a 'secret' children's den off one of bedrooms. We also have a car which is available to use.

Who we are

  1. We are a professional couple with two lovely girls (4 and 7). We have done 2 Exchanges before and loved them.

Our daughters would love to find somewhere with a swimming pool and a big garden since we don't have those in London!

We'll try to reply to all messages.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on a very friendly street in Putney with a small art gallery at one end and a health shop at the other. We're close to the river Thames were the Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race is held.

Putney is quiet with lots of restaurants and cafes - very much a family area. Our street has three local pubs nearby, one of which is an award-winning real ale pub.

One of the things we love about Putney is the position - it's very close to Central London 5km (30-40 mins on train or Underground and about 30 mins by bike; 15 mins by car with no traffic!). Famous areas such as the King's Road, Knightsbridge and Kensington are very close. Going the other way, West out of London we are about 10 minutes' drive from Richmond Park which is stunning and about 30 mins from Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace. You can walk down the leafy river banks for miles and miles. We are about 250m from the River Thames.

Heathrow and Gatwick airports are about an hour away by public transport.
