Our home is based across 3 upper floors of a Victorian conversion. Its stylish and modern interior in calm neutral colours. There are two double bedrooms - 1 huge and on the top floor with its own WC. The second is located on the lowest floor with the living area, kitchen and main bathroom on the middle floor. The lounge / dining room is a spacious. The kitchen is modern and very well equiped. There is a small but nice balcony leading off the master bedroom - enough space for 2 to sit out and have a glass of wine and enjoy the evening. The apartment has lots of stairs so not overly suitable for toddlers. Walkable to Highbury & Islington and Angel Tube Stations. 2 minutes from Canonbury station - direct link to Kew Gardens and Hampstead.
We are Hannah and Mike, married and in our 30s. We are both professionals (Civil Engineer & Fashion PR). We have lived in London for the last 8 years, originally from Scotland.
Situated within 10 minutes of Islington, one of London's most vibrant areas. Islington is a haven for shoppers, theatre-goers and diners, with its many fashion and lifestyle boutiques, designer furniture shops, vintage boutiques and antiques market, lots of lovely bars and restaurants as well as two of London's finest theaters - Sadler's Wells and The Almeida. http://www.sadlerswells.com/ http://www.almeida.co.uk/ The nearest underground station is Highbury & Islington - Victoria line - which is only 1 stop to Kings Cross / St Pancras (Eurostar connection) so if you did fancy a day trip to Paris, that is totally feasible. Its 15 - 20 mins on the tube to Oxford Circus and the wealth of shopping destinations that are on offer there - Selfridges, Liberty of London, Bond St and a quick tube change you can easily get to amazing tourist attractions such as Harrods, London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Tower of London and the V&A museum.
