Who we are

  1. We are a professional couple in our 30's and our 4 year old son and baby daughter. We are originally Australian but have lived in the UK for many years. We love to travel and are open to wherever that may be. We are always on the lookout for a Sydney Christmas or anywhere else warm at that time of year. We do not need to travel in school holidays yet so can be flexible.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Located in a pretty suburban setting around the corner from a quality Italian deli where locals flock for their morning coffee or to pick up breads, cheeses, wines and organic fruit/veg; next to an organic home style cooking cafe; a gift shop and convenience store. Kensal/ Queens Park (Zone 2 on Bakerloo line) is a sought after neighbourhood within London: central but with a friendly, family, bohemian feel. We are five minute's walk round the corner from a very well equipped park, with pitch and putt, tennis courts, children's playground, petting zoo and cafe. In winter it is often blanketed in snow, dotted with snowmen and a large lit up Christmas tree. (We can lend you our sleds for trips to Primrose Hill on snowy days). Numerous restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. Farmers market 10 mins walk away on Sundays. We are very close to Notting Hill, Little Venice, Primrose Hill and Hampstead. In terms of tourist attractions, given our central location we are a short tube ride away from Soho and Trafalgar Square (c. 25mins) with the numerous restaurants, shops and art galleries; 15 mins tube ride to Madame Tussauds and Regents Park; everything else is very accessible.
