Our home

Our home is a pretty double-fronted Victorian cottage in London, tucked away in a pedestrian-only location overlooking a churchyard full of trees near an excellent range of amenities, shops and transport links (central London 25 minutes)
The cottage has been recently renovated, with a new kitchen and bathroom plus a downstairs cloakroom. There are two double bedrooms upstairs, and a small but private & sunny courtyard opening off from the kitchen.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are minutes from frequent buses and Mortlake train station, which can take you to Waterloo Station (central London) in 25 minutes: Google 'Waterloo Station to Oxford Street'.

Fifteen minutes in the opposite direction brings you to fashionable Richmond-Upon-Thames.

We live in a safe and friendly neighborhood with an excellent range of coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, independent shops and supermarkets. A short bus or train ride takes you to Richmond (‘the healthiest and happiest borough in London’) with three cinemas and two theaters, along with riverside bars, pubs and restaurants.

We are close to many green spaces, including the 2500 acres of Royal Richmond Park which is perfect for walking, jogging, picnics, and cycling (you can rent bikes).

Less than a mile away from our house is the picture-postcard village of Barnes. Have lunch and a beer at The Sun Inn, a Grade II 17th century public house overlooking the village pond; on Saturdays there is the farmers market where can buy organic and free range meats, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, bread, pastries and cheeses.
