Our home

Our home is a 1930s semi-detached house set up over two storeys in a very quiet road with no through traffic. It has undergone extensive renovations over the past few years, providing a contemporary and comfortable living space.

In the ground floor there is a living room, a dining room, a large kitchen, a study and a shower room. The living room has a mixture of eclectic and traditional French furniture, and offers plenty of space to relax in or entertain family and friends. It is equipped with a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a hi-fi system. The centre piece of the living room is the wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped with a DeLonghi espresso machine, an easy-to-clean induction cooker, two ovens, a microwave, a large fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The adjacent utility room has everything you need for your laundry needs. The dining room, which is adjoining the kitchen, has large glass doors and windows giving plenty of light and easy access to the garden. The study has a sofa-bed. There is a newly renovated shower-room and toilet.

Upstairs we offer two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. Both bedrooms are spacious with large windows and wardrobes. One has a queen size bed. The other is usually set as a study / guest bedroom and has a double futon that opens into a comfortable queen size bed. The family bathroom has a large triangular bath-tub, over-head shower and hand shower.

At the back of the house there is a secluded garden that can be accessed from the living room and the dining room. It has a Canadian Red Cedar deck with table, chairs and a large parasol. The garden is covered with grass and is surrounded with mature shrubs and trees. It features a small fountain with a water feature and has a large charcoal barbecue. There is also a small garden at the front of the house. In spring and summer both gardens light up with colourful flower borders.

There is WiFi connection throughout the house.

We love our home and will take care of yours in the same way we do of ours.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

East Finchley is a leafy, safe and friendly neighbourhood in North London surrounded by green spaces. It is only about 25 minutes' underground journey to Central London (direct on the Northern Line). The underground station is less than a 10 minute level walk away.

On the High Road, which is less than 10 min walk away, there is a supermarket and grocery shops, pubs and restaurants, coffee shops and Delicatessen of different ethnicities. Also on the High Road the Phoenix Cinema, which is the oldest in the UK, was recently restored and offers a varied and interesting film program for adults and kids alike. The sumptuous Bishop's Ave with its eye catching mansions is down the road and the trendy neighbourhood of Muswell Hill is about 15-20 min walk or an easy bus ride away. It has plenty of bars and restaurants as well as M&S store and many more shops.

Among the nearby parks, Highgate Wood, Cherry Tree Wood, Golders Hill Park with its mini zoo and pergola, and the expanse of Hampstead Heath with Kenwood House, are all within easy reach.
