Our home

We live in a rather large(250m2) comfortable Victorian house that has been extensively modernised. On the ground floor we have a sitting room with patio doors leading to the garden: living room with TV and DVD: a spacious kitchen with all the appliances and an informal eating area. There is also a dining room and roomy entrance hall with a downstairs clockroom. Upstairs there is a study and 4 bedrooms, three double, one with a shower and toilet, a single bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower plus separate toilet. 30m secluded garden with terrace and carport.

Who we are

  1. We are both retired. Aldwyn(75)taught at a London university in the Faculty of the Built Environment. Ann(70) was a Local Authority Educational Psychologist. We have three children who no longer live at home and four grandchildren. We have travelled extensively and exchanged our home on many occasions over the past 40 years. We have found these experiences rewarding and enriching. With regard to New Zealand our younger son has lived and worked in Wellington for the past five years. We have visited him on several occasions and for our next visit would like to exchange homes in the regions of the Coromandel OR in the Queenstown area. These are regions that we have visited but would like to explore more fully.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Pleasant neighbourhood with woods and parks. Idmiston Road is tree lined with a variety of shops and services just a few minutes away. Very well served by public transport as equidistant from three surface railway stations. West Dulwich, our nearest station, is a ten minute walk away with trains going into London Victoria every fifteen minutes. The journey takes twelve minutes. Nearby Tulse Hill and West Norwood stations connect with London Bridge, the City and Clapham Junction. There are several very good bus routes very close by.
