Bright and light 2 bedroom flat, just newly refurbished with all mod cons. Large entertaining front room, plus dining room/2nd bedroom. 2 bathrooms (master bedroom with ensuite) and eat in kitchen. 3rd bedroom is our baby's room. Separate laundry room.

Who we are

We are a Australian/British family. I grew up in Claremont in Perth, moving to London about 10 years ago. My family are all still in Perth but my parents have now sold the family home and moved into a small home just for the 2 of them, hence our desire to get back to Perth for Christmas and find accommodation for our family of 3. Our daughter is 11 months old and my husband and I are in our late 30s. We have done a house swap before with friends that went extremely well so we are very keen to try it again this year.

Centrally located in the heart of Kensington, our home is less than a minutes walk from High Street Kensington, where there is a plethora of shops, cafes, fine dining restaurants, pubs and public transport galore. Flanked by Holland Park and Hyde Park it is abundant in green space. A ten minute walk to the Museums of South Kensington (Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum) and a less than 10 minute bus ride to Knightsbridge where you will find Harrods and Harvey Nichols, a 10 minute bus ride to the Kings Road in Chelsea and 15 minutes into the west end for all the shows that London has to offer.
