Our home

We have a lovely newly renovated three bedroom house in Ealing, West London. It's a light and sunny house that has been beautifully designed with one master bedroom and two converted bedrooms (office and study with a sofa bed in the latter). We're a couple of culture vultures so the place is stuffed to the rafters with books, cds and DVDs and we also have an excellent new LCD 38 inch television with a fantastic BOSE 321 audio system. Downstairs is polished wooden floors with carpeted second level. A large and well stocked kichen sits next ot the dining room. A six seater table sits in the rear garden which gets beautiful light in summer.

Who we are

  1. I work as a consultant for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and my partner works as an English teacher at a nearby high school. We're very active in London and love theatre, film, music and eating out in all the myriad forms London has to offer. Football and cricket also feature pretty regularly.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ealing is a lovely quiet area of West London. It's about 25 minutes on the tube from the centre of town. We love it as it's a quick ride into the centre of things in London but possessing a good villagey feel, with lots of fantastic pubs more akin to regional English country pubs than characterless English watering holes. It's also leafy and green, with three large commons and parks within a five minute walk. We particularly recommend the Red Lion up the road, a known haunt of Alec Guiness during the Ealing Comedy days. Excellent and great value restaurants nearby which we'll point you towards.
