Our home

Warm full of light and spacious. There are two double bedded bedrooms, one with bunk beds, and a fourth bedroom we use as a study with a small single. The house is georgian and very elegant with huge windows and most of the original fittings. It is a comfortable family home, but is also great for entertaining. We have all amenities and the walled garden is unusually wide for a such a central London home and gets the sun pretty much all day. We have plenty of garden furniture too. The house isnt overly modern but has everything you need, including technology, and a piano. One of those homes that once you shut the door you dont feel like going out! We have a fantastic cleaner who comes twice a week and will also do washing and ironing. We can arrange for her to be available for you too.

Who we are

  1. We are both social entrepreneurs in our 50s, and my partner has one son (my step son) who is nearly 13 and great. We all love travelling and usually take with us one of Lewis best mates. We are all fans of cities, love exploring, but love nothing better than a beautiful beach and great scuba diving, or pristine snow and skiing.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on an unusually wide and quiet street given its location. It is only partly accessible so has few cars, but gets loads of cyclists. The neighbours are quiet and very friendly and the local shop owners great, with one of the best small organic shops around. There is a great gastro pub, turkish restaurant, and vietnamese within 2-5 minutes walk. The canal which winds through London is 5 minutes walk away and is London's best kept secret, a fantastic urban park where you can walk or cycle all the way to London's docklands or out into the country. Public transport is good into Islington for great shopping great theatre, or to central London for museums, theatres, galleries restaurants. You can walk to Hoxton and the East End which is the trendiest and one of the most interesting parts of London.
