Our home

We are offering a beautiful four bedroomed house between Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common in south west London. It is close to the main tourists sights and has excellent transport links. We have a lovely living room with a widescreen television, Sky TV and DVD player. Our kitchen is the heart of the home with a beautiful oak island and huge concertina doors that open fully onto the decked terrace outside. There's also a small lawn. We have a master bedroom with ensuite shower room in our bright and sunny converted loft. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom, a large children's room with bunk beds, a smaller single bedroom with a toddler bed and a family bathroom.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Tony and Sarah both work in the media and have three sons aged 7, 5 and 3. We are new to the home exchange market but have been encouraged by a number of friends who have had great experiences. We love to travel and are open to all offers. We particularly hoped that someone would want an exchange in late July 2012 and August to take advantage of the Olympics in London. We would be looking to take our return exchange later in the year - maybe late October or in December to somewhere hot!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is on a quiet, pretty and leafy street with two large parks (Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common - both great for jogging and cycling) and numerous playgrounds close by. It's a five minute walk to Northcote Road - our nearest major shopping street - where you will find great individual boutiques, an antiques market, fabulous restaurants as well as chain stores such as Space NK and Whistles. The King's Road in Chelsea is a short bus ride away and you can nip into the very centre of London either by overland trains at Clapham Junction (12 minutes walk) or by Tube at Clapham South. We love our area. It's very child-friendly but we also have lots of culture on our doorstep.
