Our home

We offer our house which has the following accommodation: - a reception room with TV and two sofas. - a kitchen/dining room which has doors which open onto the garden and a computer with high speed internet. - 2 large double bedrooms on the first floor; one is currently the master bedroom. - 1 large bathroom on the first floor. - 1 large double bedroom and ensuite in the loft. Our home has recently been completely renovated (painted inside and out, new kitchen and bathrooms, polished wooden floors and new carpet), however we have retained many of the house's original features including picture rails, fireplaces and ornate cornicing. Our home is a traditional English terrace house built in the early 1900s.

Who we are

  1. We are Michelle and Sean, a married couple with a young daughter - Abigail. We are both professionals (accountant and hotel broker) and enjoy travelling. We have been involved in one home exchange previously and it was a great experience. We would like to go somewhere warm in 2010 and hope you might like to come to London.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our home is located in West Wimbledon. This area is close to Central London by train or underground, yet is green, leafy and has a great selection of shops, restaurants bars and local attractions. Wimbledon Common (a huge park in which people ride horses, mountain bike, walk, run and play golf) is within walking distance. Many quaint English villages located in Surrey and Kent are only a short car or train journey away. Our home is located in a quiet residential street. The train station is 3 minutes walk. Trains run regularly to central London and take no longer than 25 minutes. In addition, there is a bus stop at the end of our street which services the local area. Wimbledon shops can be reached in approximately 5 minutes on the bus.
