Our home

This airy, top floor, split level flat is on a quiet street but just around the corner from a selection of gastro-pubs, eclectic restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops. Even in the winter it's bright and there's a working fireplace which makes it a cosy place to relax, watch a movie and cook something tasty on nights when you feel like staying in. It's also really close to the centre of London, Islington and Camden.

Who we are

My husband and I are in our late 30's. He is a freelance graphic designer, specializing in book covers and I work in international Publishing. We have a 7 month old son and we love travelling. We would like to agree a 1-3 month home swap this summer somewhere on the coast (with a garden) in North America, Europe or the UK.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

It's 2 stops to King's Cross/Euston (if you'd like to visit the North of England/Scotland) and 7 stops to Covent Garden, which takes you straight into the heart of 'theatreland', where you can also visit the Opera House and plenty of galleries. Oxford Circus/Soho are also really accessible for shopping and nights out. Buses from the end of our street take you directly to Highgate, Hampstead Heath and Crouch End if you're interested in exploring some other beautiful and historic areas of the city.
