Our home

Large Victorian house next to Hampstead Heath, which has been renovated in a modern style. It has 5 bedrooms, a study, and two bathrooms on three floors, and a toilet on the ground floor. The back room is large and glassed in all around and looks over the Easterly garden with a terrace-this contains a kitchen and a family area which is lovely to sit in all day!

Who we are

  1. We are a small family-I am an Academic from Australia (Melbourne), while my wife worked for the BBC for years and is German. We have an 11 year old son and have travelled and lived all over the World. We love the beach, but also love visiting parts of the World we have not seen before. We have exchanged a number of times and are responsible citizens!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Very close to the City by bus (end of the street) or tube (8 minutes walk), and very easy to get around as it is also on the North London trainline(5 minutes walk) which goes to Kew Gardens and Richmond. Easy access to all the Museums and Theatres of London, or go walking on the Heath, or swim in the Public Pool. Good base to visit Cambridge, Oxford, Bath, the Cotswalds. Friendly neighbours and quiet suburban street. The jewel in this part of the World is Hampstead Heath which is 400 ha of parkland, forest, ponds and sports fields containing a pool and tennis courts. It is wonderful to walk-takes over an hour to do a circuit, and you get wonderful views of the City from the top of Parliament Hill.
