Our home

We have a spacious, bright and comfortable family home. There is a very large living room with lots of books, dvds, cds, piano, etc. where we spend a lot of our family time. The kitchen and dining room are open plan and look out to a small but mature and lovely garden. There are 5 bedrooms and enough space for twice that (we know as we've had all our family to stay!)
We are interested in exchanging during school half-terms, Easter and Summer holidays. We have had a number of successful exchanges and would love to do more.

Who we are

  1. We are both university academics in London and our kids are 16 and 14. We all love travelling (and learning about other cultures), music, movies, reading and enjoying good food. We have had many successful exchanges so far and look forward to many more. The wonderful thing about a home exchange is getting to know a place from a "non-touristy" perspective and perhaps making new friends.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a vibrant, multicultural part of north London. There are plenty of shops, supermarkets, local grocers, restaurants and cafes on the high street. We are only about two minutes from all of this yet the house is lovely and peaceful. The tube station is a 7 minute walk away and will get you to Central London in about 25 minutes. There are also plenty of buses should you prefer the scenic route and the M1 motorway is very close if you wish to explore the rest of the U.K.
