Our home

We live in a large, end of terrace house in NW5, North London. Our home is a 5-minute walk to Hampstead Heath, and a 20-minute journey by public transport (5 stops on the tube) to the center of town. We really are in a perfect position to explore London, while also offering space to relax and walk.

Our end of terrace house is on three floors. We are completely modernised - with central heating, much of it underfloor - and all the mod cons you would expect from a family home. We have three exclusive bedrooms as well as an office and three further living rooms, one of which has a sofa bed (and large sofa which can accommodate). We also have many instruments - including a baby grand - and all expected cable/visual toys, as expected with teenagers!

We are experienced exchangers, having swapped many times through Home link international.

Property features

Who we are

  1. I am a writer and my husband is a TV documentary producer. Our twin girls are 13.

My husband has a temporary job in Sydney - making a film about Australian art for ABC/BBC. This is wonderful timing as my brother is very unwell and I want to spend time with him.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Kentish Town is 5 stops from the west end, and a few minutes walk from Hampstead Heath. we are surrounded by award winning gastro-pubs, and there are several nearby markets. Our street in wide and leafy and our neigbours friendly. Street parking is available - as is out car!

There are plenty of things to do nearby - walks, cinema, pools (inside and out) theatre, pubs and food. And our house is large and very comfortable - for the end of the day relaxation.

For families with kids, there are many great schools near us. I'm happy to provide details.

Pets aren't a problem - the garden is exceptionally big by London standards (and equipped with a climbing frame/house and sunken trampoline, as well as BBQ etc)
