Our home

This small Central London garden flat, is warm and comfortable and is located in a very popular neighborhood. Ideal for a couple, it can sleep 3 people using the sofa-bed in the living room. Within 5 minutes walking you can access Stoke Newington Church Street with a diversity of award winning restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. At the bottom of Clissold Road is Clissold Park - a lovely London park with 2 small lakes and tennis courts.
The flat offers very easy access to the West End of London. One bus ride from here (No.73) takes you to St.Pancras station (20 min.) where the Eurostar to Paris and Brussels depart from - and it then continues to Oxford Street in the heart of London's West End. (35mins.). Access to the City of London is 20 minutes.
Although small, the flat is unique because beyond the private garden is a large communal garden which all the residents can enjoy.

Who we are

  1. I am a Television Editor who also
directs sometimes. My partner is medical and works for Medcins sans Frontiers.(We have two flats between us). We love to travel and I am in a position where I can swap for up to 2 months at a time. Holiday breaks in Europe are fine as well!
I am especially interested in getting to know some of the South American countries and I currently have a strong interest in Mexico.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Stoke Newington is a residential area in North London. Over the last decade property prices have sky-rocketed as it becomes a destination of choice for professional couples with their first children. It has a village feel with a park and a church dominating the principal street - Church St, which is famous for its restaurants and bars and a popular promenade for outsiders at the weekend.
With access to the West End of London within 35 minutes (according to traffic) it really is a central location and an ideal base from which to see the rest of London. At the other end of Clissold Road is a large school which can make the street busy during term time. There is also a really good Leisure centre 300 metres up the road which offers a fantastic swimming pool, Squash Courts, Gym, Sauna Steam Bath etc. So if you like exercise you are close to a top class 21st century Sports Centre.
