Our home

This apartment is an elegant yet cosy retreat from the sights of London some of which are but a short walk away. Centrally located between the British Museum and Covent Garden, the apartment is accessed through a secure gate from street level to a pretty courtyard garden. There are both stairs and a lift to the apartment which is on the second floor and which also boasts a gated balcony garden. Although there is one double bedroom with double bed there is space to sleep two others in the sitting room. The apartment has WIFI, TV and in the kitchen all modern conveniences including washer and a condenser/dryer.

Who we are

  1. I am a retired business lady who has followed her hobby and recently competed a Masters in Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors in London. I love the buzz of London and the vast range of cultural experiences to enjoy. On the other hand my second home in Yorkshire is in the country and there i like walking, cycling and playing golf - anything to do with the great outdoors. With HomeForExchange, I hope to experience life in other countries, not just as a tourist, with my sister and close friends. It seems a great way to see the world.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The apartment is in the centre of London at the edge of Bloomsbury, In front of the British Museum and minutes from Covent Garden. It is a safe but busy area with plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs nearby. Many of the sights of London including the British Museum, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Square, The Thames,The Eye and Somerset House are a short walk away. Coptic Street is at the top of Shaftesbury Avenue and is therefore ideally placed for theatre land. For those keen on shopping, New Oxford Street is at the end of the road which leads to Oxford street and Tottenham Court Road and, of course, there are the numerous shops of Covent Garden. The tube stations of Holborn and Tottenham Court Road are five minutes away and many of the main bus routes pass the end of the road.

This is certainly a place to enjoy the buzz of London but not for a quiet holiday.
