Our home

Our house is spacious, well appointed and homely. There is a spacious garden to rear, where you can sit and eat in the evenings, or sun bathe during the day and feel almost in the country though we are in town. The local area has wonderful parks and attractions. Public transport is excellent and we are within very easy reach of central London. We are very happy here and are sure that anybody visiting will be happy too.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple, both widowed, Wendy and Graeme. We are in our mid 60s and both of us are recently retired from professional jobs. We are, I think, typical of our age-group: quiet, respectful, reasonable and decent. Neither of us smoke, nor do we have any other objectionable habits.

In the last couple of years we have done a great deal of travelling in many part of the world. We have recently returned from our first trip using HomeForExchange in Australia. We had a wonderful time and are eager to repeat the experience next year.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Greenwich is famous for the meridian, which runs through our local park. There are magnificent views of the Thames and the City of London from the park and Greenwich is home to the National Maritime Museum and the Naval Colleges.

Blackheath is our local village where the trains run to central London (12 mins to London Bridge). The village is full of shops and restaurants there is a concert hall and many activities take place on the heath.

The local housing is of good quality and there are no high-rise flats. Security, for London, is very good.
