Our home

Our house is a traditional Victorian terrace in a conservatory area in trendy Islington, just north of St Pancras International Station, just minutes from the British Library, the City and Shoreditch. It has one master bedroom, a children's room with one single bed and a cot, and a guest room downstairs that sleeps two. Our kitchen is very modern and great for all meals, although on sunny days, breakfast in the patio garden is a delight. Our bathroom is new and has a shower and a bath. Our bright double living room has original Victorian features.

Who we are

  1. We are a French family of four. London has been our home for a few years now. We and our boys, 4 and 1, love the parks and the activities London has to offer--sports, museums, art galleries, music, and eating out. We don't need or own a car, being in Central London, but parking in the street is not an issue.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on a beautiful quiet square in a conservatory area (b. 1843) just a short walk from Angel Tube Station along Regents Canal. The square holds a beautiful dog-free garden where families enjoy playing and relaxing most summer afternoons and evenings. Driving is restricted to residents so although in Central London, the neighbourood has almost a village feel to it. Just streets away you will find trendy Upper Street, with its bars, restaurants, movie theaters, drama and dance theaters and traditional comedy pubs. Living, walking in the local parks and shopping on Upper Street would keep you busy for days, but Picaddilly is just a 20mn bus ride away. Public transport links to the West End are excellent, and the City is just a short walk away, through trendy Shoreditch.
