Our home

We have lived in our large Victorian House for twelve years. On the ground floor are a sitting room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. On the first floor are the master bedroom with bathroom en suite and a second big sitting room - the red room. On the top floor are three bedrooms and another bathroom. Two of the bathrooms have power showers and the other a bath.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Penelope and David. Penelope works for a charity and David works for the government. We have two daughters 13 and 15. We have not done a home exchange before but have long wanted to try. We have a second home in the Italian countryside in the Marche. We enjoy going to museums and galleries, reading and going to the cinema.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in Kentish Town, which is incredibly near all the sights of London, yet also very quiet. Our road is wide and tree-lined. Five minutes away is a local shopping street with food shops, newsagent, book shop - everything you could need to buy locally. Kentish Town Underground station is ten minutes walk away, but we also have lots of buses nearby. Camden Market is ten minutes the other way. The whole of London is at your fingertips...in fact the British Library and other sights are in walking distance. We go everywhere by public transport. If you want some green space, Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath are very near.
