Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

London is a world-famous city with many attractions.

All the sights and sounds of London are just short journeys away on the tube: Oxford Circus is five stops away, Covent Garden is also five stops away, and Piccadilly Circus is six stops away - or for a more scenic route you could sit on the top of a famous London red double-decker bus to your destination.

Arsenal football stadium is a ten-minute walk away.

There are many local restaurants, cafés, pubs, and delicatessens offering a wide variety of delicious food, to suit all budgets and tastes.

You could sit out in the courtyard of nearby Highbury Barn, with an excellent fish and chip shop on one side of the courtyard, and a pub with local ales on the other. Both offer al-fresco dining.

The house is located between three lively parks, with lots on offer for all the family. The parks have regular events, such as visiting circuses and funfairs, cultural events, and occasional music festivals.

All the parks have tennis courts which are available to the public, as well as children's play areas. Two of the parks also have a skateboarding and BMX area.

Upper Street starts a fifteen-minute walk away (or a five-minute bus ride), with its boutique shopping, cinemas, nightlife and fashionable eateries.

Family-friendly Church Street is a ten-minute walk away, with many child friendly cafés, shops and pubs.

There are several famous music venues within walking distance, including Union Chapel, which has been voted London's best music venue, as well as The Garage, Islington Academy, and many others.

The local area boasts many small but high-quality theatre and comedy venues within walking distance, including the Almeida theatre and the Hen and Chickens Theatre Pub (known for showing famous comedians in a small, intimate venue before their big tours).

You can watch world-famous contemporary dance performances at nearby Saddler's Wells.

There are three leisure centres within walking distance that are open to all, two of which have a swimming pool.

There are floodlit open-air tennis courts in Highbury Fields (five to ten minutes' walk away).
