Our home

A beautiful, spacious vicarage in the heart of London (within earshot of the chimes of Big Ben). The house is in Georgian style (though dating from 1913) and is laid out over two floors with a striking domed window offering light over the central staircase. The newly replaced double glazing offers complete quiet despite the fact that we are so central and the house benefits from a front and back garden (with one elderly chicken living out her dotage). There are three double and two single bedrooms, two kitchens, two generous entertaining rooms and an office/playroom with lots of children's toys/board games, etc. We can offer an estate car and family bicycles, as well as miscellaneous other items, including running and rowing machines.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are in Kennington, London SE11: we have a wonderful local community which is lively and bustling. As we are within the sound of the 'division bell' we have a disproportionate amount of politicians living close by but a quick glance at people walking past gives the impression of the league of nations. We are within 5 minute's walk of a park with playground and cafe. We have a large supermarket within 5 minutes walk, with its slightly smaller sister about 1 minute's walk. Trafalgar Square is within walking distance (about 30 minutes on foot) but there are a number of bus routes passing in front of the house and two tube stations at 8 and 10 minutes respectively.
